Georg Gaigl is a versatile artist living in Munich, Germany.

He works with video and the specially developed photo-transfer technique Décalcage and refers in his portfolio to the surrealist techniques of Max Ernst, to the visual language in the films of Jean-Luc Godard, to Andrei Tarkovsky's spiritual and poetic approach to cinema and to the intense human images of Reiner Werner Fassbinder. Inspired by unconscious communication, he creates portraits, lyrical landscapes, conceptual abstractions and short poetic animations. Life according to Agfa.
